COOPER — Aline Freeman, 90, of Ben Franklin died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, in Hopkins County Memorial Hospital in Sulphur Springs.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, in Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Regan officiating. Interment follows in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Ben Franklin.

The family receives friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She was born in Delta County June 20, 1919, the daughter of Sam and Della Lancaster Martin. She was a lifelong resident of Delta County and a member of the Church of Christ. She married O.R. “Shorty” Freeman June 14, 1944. They owned and operated Freeman Grocery in Ben Franklin.

Survivors include her husband, O.R. “Shorty” Freeman of Ben Franklin; two sons, Randy Freeman of Ben Franklin, and Larry and his wife, Cathy, Freeman of San Antonio; three grandsons and their wives, Blair and Mandy Freeman of Cooper, Mike and Teri Freeman of Minneapolis, Minn., and Jason and Jennifer Freeman of Seattle, Wash.; and eight great-grandchildren.
